The head of Kampeng Sijera Hamlet, Melavati, said that the Sijera village government had proposed repairs to the Sisempur road several times. But so far it has not been realized. Now people hope the road will be rehabilitated soon.

Melavati said drivers who fall on this road also often walk. The road is slippery especially in the rainy season.
“The village has applied for repairs. Even though the village head has proposed several times, the Tasikmalaya Regency Government has not realized it,” he said.
The road has been in disrepair for 23 years and Melavati continued, claiming that she had never seen a Tasikmalaya representative visit this damaged Sisimpur village road.
Residents hope that the district government can immediately rehabilitate this dilapidated road so that the needs of residents’ activities can be quickly met.
