The general meeting of the Viims branch of the Central Party unanimously elected Annika Vaikla as the head of the department, Raimo Tann, Ilja Ban, Ene Lill, Ivo Illisson and Marge Veik were confirmed as board members.
Annika Vaikla is a member of the Viimsi municipality council and has been in charge of the Viimsi department since 2020.
There are 67 members in the Central Party Viims department, plus supporting members who contribute their knowledge and experience to improving life in Viims municipality. They meet once a month to discuss the Viims council’s agenda and other topical issues.
Annika Vaikla considers it necessary that the voice of the team is represented in the council, involvement is very important and it must be done constantly, not just before the elections. It is important that the team includes experts in special fields, young people and elderly people – this is how wise and considerate decisions are made – this is the basis of the principle that supporting members are always welcome at our meetings, everyone who wants to actively contribute to the development of local life.
Vaikla thanks all members for their trust and contribution to improving life in Viimsi and Estonia – together we are strong and make the best decisions!
The chairman of Harju County of the Center Party and the mayor of Maardu were also in the village Vladimir Arkhipov and Secretary General of the Central Party Anneli Ott. There were exciting discussions on the progress of the Center Party, the political landscape of Estonia and the education reform.
