The VII Annual Space Traffic Management Conference begins in Austin – Aerospace News

This Tuesday begins in Austin, Texas (USA) the VII Annual Space Traffic Management Conference. With the motto “Trust, but verify: incentivize compliance through shared monitoring and evaluation,” the conference will take place virtually over two days. Spanish Alberto Águeda will represent GMV at the Conference.

The Space Safety and Security (SSS) Program of the Strauss Center of the University of Texas at Austin and the Cockrell School of Engineering, in association with the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and Lockheed Martin, organize this edition that It will begin with a keynote address followed by three moderated panels with a question and answer session each day.

Experts from around the world will meet virtually to discuss and exchange ideas on space traffic management. Technical sessions will cover topics including: range management, airspace / orbital space integration, space security, security and sustainability, effects and impacts of the space environment, and related issues.
