Recently, the journalist’s daughters Jorge LanataBárbara and Lola, made a judicial presentation to request that they be definitively designated as his father’s support network for everything related to your health and medical treatments.
In the 67-page document they also accused the current wife, Elba Marcovecchio of “harm his father’s health” y “steal items of great value”.
To support their claims, they included as evidence more than 99 videos from the property’s security cameras and audio recordings, in which the lawyer is observed “hiding valuable items between her wallet and personal items.”
In the letter, the journalist’s daughters claim: “With our father finding himself in a vulnerable and defenseless state, Mrs. Elba finds herself embezzling his assets, stealing things and selling furniture.”
Among the 42 objects that were detailed as “missing” They included: “three folders with certificates of works of art, between 35 and 50 thousand dollars, a large number of works of art, luxury lighters, watches, an Hermès ashtray, cufflinks, glasses, silver elements and more.”
On the other hand, Marcovecchio’s lawyer, Guadalupe Guerrero, in dialogue with DDM, expressed: “The accusations they made are very serious.” And he added: “Elba is destroyed after learning what these people wrote. It is aggravating, it is humiliating and she is very dismayed”.
Along these lines, the lawyer detailed: “Elba has been in the exclusive care of her husband for 104 days, and the truth is that experiencing this situation with respect to Jorge Lanata’s health is something that does not help. She has two little boys who are in her care and who keep seeing certain things. There are a lot of places where she occupies roles and this affects her like anyone else.”.
To which he continued: “It is not a situation that was broken, from the beginning there are two places where the daughters are in one and the wife in the other. It was Jorge’s choice to marry her and there must have evidently been a breakdown that unfortunately is manifesting itself at this moment. She meets Jorge, and the last thing he would have wanted is this”.
Finally, he noted: “There are so many grievances that we are surely going to respond, not attack or counterattack. “We would have to explain point by point how things happened and what the truths are.”
