Reported by India Today (21/01), it all started when a celebrity named Chirag Bartjaya shared a video of making noodles which turned out to be far from hygienic and suitable for consumption.
“When was the last time you had Hakka Chinese noodles with Schezuan sauce?” wrote Chirag in his video upload.
In the video, several factory workers are seen pouring flour into a special machine which is starting to rust. All the flour was placed on the floor in the open position.

The manufacturing process doesn’t stop there, all the workers there make the noodles with their hands without gloves, masks, or hair nets that protect hair from falling into the food. They also do not wear special shoes, but bare feet.
After the noodle dough is formed, the noodles are then covered with the part of the towel that seems dirty. After that, the noodles were thrown carelessly onto the factory floor, which was full of flour and dirt.
Relaxed and without any mat, the factory workers immediately wrapped the noodles in plastic packaging before the noodles were ready to be marketed to shops and noodle sellers.

The process of making these dirty noodles certainly attracts attention. This video was immediately watched thousands of times and received hundreds of various comments from netizens.
“This is nothing new. Not only noodle factories, all other food factories in India, such as pani puri, sev puri, to wala sandwiches, must also have an unhygienic manufacturing process. Unless the factory is from a big brand,” commented one netizen.
“I am sure this kind of health problem occurs in almost every kitchen in Delhi. If you know the process of making your food which is mass produced, you will definitely stop eating it!” continued netizens.
“All the processes for making these noodles are very unhygienic. If the location of this noodle factory can be traced, this factory should just be closed down,” suggested netizens.
“Seeing the process of making noodles like this made me traumatized myself. Even though the noodles were cooked by myself, it’s still possible that the noodles came from the same factory,” concluded the netizen.
