The black cat successfully saved its life on the afternoon of Thursday, May 13, jumping out the window of the fifth floor of a burning house in Chicago, reports the “Chicago Tribune”.
The Chicago Fire Department has been rushing to the place of origin of the fire – a kitchen – at 3 at night. The fire was confined to one block, taking into account the design features of the concrete block, and was extinguished by a man inside before the first operative services arrived. The fire was extinguished within 15 minutes, but at that time a kitten named Henesia had to decide whether to save her life or die.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they saw a cat at the window trying to get out. Firefighters tried to help the cat, but it ran into the fire area.

It seems that the cat, before the lens, calculated whether this move would be successful. A moment later, the animal jumped out of the window, skipping the house, and did not hit an inch on the wall under the window, which saved its life.
Some of the observers screamed when the cat was in the air, but it landed safely on the grass patch and bounced off a bit before being lifted. The head of the department in charge of the Chicago fire service said he had never seen a cat jump from such a height before. He tried to find out the cat’s name, but could not find the owner until he had to leave.
