The victory of BSP in the bastion of Dogan and DOST – Kardzhali is significant! Alexander Simov broke through and became a deputy! – 2024-08-29 22:14:23

/ world today news/ DPS, GERB and BSP shared the 5 parliamentary mandates that belong to the Kardzhali constituency, an emigrant organization in Turkey will appeal to the European Court of Human Rights.

For for the third time, Kardzhali managed to send a representative from the BSP. Stefan Stefanov was a deputy in the 36th National Assembly and Milko Bagdasarov during the cabinet of Plamen Oresharski, which existed for a very short period.

Alexander Simov, whom “Positano” 20 threw him to the wolves to get better in this difficult area – a bastion of DPS and DOST as the leader of the red list, won 9.70% of the local vote or 8,409 votes, although he was in the “paratrooper” position. He defined the campaign of the left in Kardzhali as very meaningful, in which emphasis was set, it turned out to be national. In practice, he was the first to declare the DOST Union a real threat to the democracy and peace of the region and the country, even to its territorial integrity, but also announced all the other contestants for the vote as serious opponents of the BSP.

“We have shown that BSP can set the tone in an election campaign. The situation in Kardzhali was very peculiar. The one-party hysteria over it, the tension-mongering, the loudspeaker and bus campaign demotivated many people and made them wonder if it was worth voting at all. The weakness of the Bulgarian state two years ago to stop external interference led to the fact that many people decided to stay at home, this is a conflict with a very strong potential,” said Simov and requested a strong relationship with Kardzhali.

The blade of GERB Tsveta Karayancheva will again represent Kardzhali with the won 16.32% or 14,448 votes. While in all the previous elections, the parties except one made it a priority in the region to break the monopoly of the DPS, without actively working to attract the Turks and Muslims, without much unnecessary talk she managed to achieve this and it cannot be denied to her. Because their presence in the membership and electoral mass is a fact. However, the main battle in the area was between the hitherto impenetrable monopoly DPS and the DOST Union, targeting the same votes, those of the Turks and the Muslims.

The result of DPS reached 44.92% or 38,940 votes, Mestan-Ismailov took away trophies of 18,718 votes, equal to 21.59%. These are the data of the local RIC with 100% processed protocols. “We are the first political force not only in the district, but also in all 7 municipalities. The influx of votes from abroad affected the results, but by analyzing them, we will get a clearer picture. Now we await the progress of the negotiations in Sofia, the winning party will decide with whom to form a coalition. We have not entered into aimless coalitions,” said the regional leader of the DPS, Izet Shaban. According to him, there must be a cabinet at all costs, especially because of our upcoming EU presidency. And another election would be catastrophic for the development of the country, he added.

The intrigue with the second in the list of the movement – mayor of Kardzhali and vice-chairman at the national level Hasan Azis has already been clarified, he remains mayor. The leader of the DOST party Lyutvi Mestan did not pick up his phone today, but the local coordinator Rashid Shukri said that last night he was angry because of the low results, and 95% of those who arrived on the buses from Turkey voted for DPS. Already last night, in a televised statement, the leader of the Sofia list of DOST Evgeniy Mihailov stated that the coalition will appeal the results of the vote. However, the votes beyond Kapitan Andreevo showed that DOST won over 22,000 votes against 11,000 for DPS.

The Turkish media yesterday and today abundantly inform about the election process there and in our country, and emphasize the shocking decision of the CEC to fill in the declarations /that the voter did not vote elsewhere/ in the section itself and in Bulgarian. Many dual citizens were also quoted as being outraged by the crowded queues – firstly, because of the reduced number of polling stations /from 136 to 35/ and secondly, the dissatisfaction caused by the discriminatory attitude of the members of the commissions, who acted like bodyguards.

Representatives of the DPS and the Patriotic Front participated equally in the commissions for the vote in Turkey, which, according to the many materials in the Turkish publications, are also responsible for all the practices of obstacles and sabotage of access to the ballot boxes. Today, the news agencies in Turkey report that the most influential expatriate organization, Balgoç, has decided to file a lawsuit against Bulgaria, first suing the Bulgarian authorities for the deliberate election sabotage that made it impossible for dual citizens to exercise their right to vote. And then he will file a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights.
