Kollam: The victim of rape was found to have committed suicide. A 16-year-old girl from Kulathupuzha, Kollam was found hanging dead. The body was found in the forest near the relative’s house.
Two days ago, the girl’s mother had filed a complaint with the police. During the investigation, the girl was found from the house of a native of Oyur. The court remanded the young man to a POCSO case as she was a minor girl.
After medical examination, the girl was released with her mother. The girl who came to her relative’s house today went missing after a while. Later, he was found hanging in the nearby forest. The police said that the accused in the case was close to the young man and the girl.
