A victim of a kidnapping incident in Yongsan, Seoul last month was arrested on drug charges.
The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced on the 22nd that a 20-year-old man and his girlfriend were arrested on the 15th on charges of violating the narcotics control law.
Person A is the victim of an incident in which four men were kidnapped by four men near an apartment complex in Yongsan-gu at around 12:20 am on the 15th last month. At that moment, passing through Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Mr. A opened the car door and jumped to escape.
At that time, the police booked and investigated the four kidnappers on special detention charges and, in the process, found that Mr. A was using drugs. It is also known that the kidnapper claimed that A was a drug addict.
A went missing after the kidnapping incident. After tracing Mr. A’s whereabouts, the police found him at his girlfriend’s home and, after confirming that they tested positive for drug tests, they arrested the two.
The kidnapping suspect and Mr. A are known to know each other and are rumored to be involved in a debt relationship, and the police have sent some of the kidnapping suspects to prosecution on special robbery charges, etc.
