Jorge “Kiko” Mercado, founder of this veterans league, reported that the idea of creating this league arose several years ago, when activities were initially carried out in the sports center, but they had to suspend it and it is hoped to be able to resume it as of February month.
This league includes two categories, from 35 to 45 years old and from 46 to 55 years old, for men’s soccer 5 teams and different championships will be played, which will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 p.m., at the Romero farm, located in Colonia Hípica (southeast of the city).

Mercado indicated that the first championship will begin on February 3 and there are still places available for both categories.
