Kendji Girac addresses his audience and apologizes in his new single
This new single, which marks his return after his self-inflicted gunshot wound, nearly killing him, and the dismissal of the proceedings against him. The lyrics of this song evoke this tragedy, and sound like a redemption. Kendji Girac explained it himselfthis is a letter to his fans: “This song, I made it just for you. This is the first time I address you informally in this song, because you are my audience, who have been there since the beginning, for ten years“. In the text written by his friend Vianneythe singer apologizes: “On stage I left my smile, captain abandoned without a ship, sorry if I preferred to destroy myself even if it meant risking damaging my empire. If only I had known how to tell you without having to write it on my skin, if only I had known how to talk to you about it without the fear of ruining the photo.
