Publisher Limited Run Games announced on October 13 that the Treasure shooter game “radiant silver pistol]announced a version of the pack for the Nintendo Switch. Along with this, SUPERDELUXE GAMES, an affiliate of the company, has announced that it will release a version of the package for Japan. The start date of the booking will be communicated at a later time.
“Radiant Silver Gun” is a vertical scrolling shooter started in arcades in 1998 and later released for Sega Saturn and Xbox 360. Being a work developed by Treasure, known for Ikaruga, it is very popular with fans and, in September of this year, it was ported to the Nintendo Switch and released as a downloadable version.
This work adopts a 3-button firing operation: forward Vulcan lasers, high-precision homing bullets and diagonally spreading bullets. In addition, by pressing a combination of buttons at the same time, you can activate attacks with different performance and it features a system that allows you to use a variety of attacks. Furthermore, the score you earn is also an experience value, and you earn experience points for each type of shot, and when you accumulate a certain amount, you level up and your shots will be boosted. In addition to supporting online leaderboards, the Nintendo Switch version also includes a game mode that sets the bonus acquisition rules to the “Ikaruga” specification.
As for the Nintendo Switch package version announced this time, the product content of the Japanese version has not yet been released. However, from the products that SUPERDELUXE GAMES has managed so far, it is expected that the content will be substantially the same as the foreign version sold by Limited Run Games, while the binding for Japan will be provided.
