The Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Cross of the Redeemer and of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin, his Mother (Santa Vera Cruz) It has organized various activities to celebrate Holy Week at its canonical seat, the Church of the Vera Cruz.
The main ones are an exhibition and a guided visit to the processional steps of the brotherhood. The exhibition will remain from this Friday, March 19, and until Sunday April 4, during the hours of worship and opening for the visit of the Church. Inside, those interested will be able to contemplate seven sculptural groups mounted in their corresponding processional steps for the veneration of the faithful and the contemplation of the visitors.
Specifically, in the church they will be ‘The Flagellation of the Savior’ (‘The Lashes’),’ The balcony of Pilatos’ (‘La Caña’), ‘Nazareno Chico’, ‘La Caída’, ‘El Calvario’, ‘Virgen de los Dolores’ and’ Santo Tomb’.
