PARIS (Reuters) – Stocks to follow Monday on the Paris Stock Exchange and in Europe where benchmark futures are signaling a scattered open:
* SOCIÉTÉ GÉNÉRALE announced on Monday a reorganization of its retail banking in France via a merger project between the Crédit du Nord and Société Générale brands and increased development of its subsidiary Boursorama.
Societe Generale also announced Friday that the capital requirements set for it by the European Central Bank (ECB) for January 1, 2021 were unchanged, ensuring that it has a “comfortable” margin in this area.
* UNICREDIT / MONTE DEI PASCHI – The resignation of Jean-Pierre Mustier from his post as Managing Director of UniCredit has nothing to do with a possible acquisition of Monte dei Paschi (MPS), said the new president-elect of UniCredit, Pier Carlo Padoan, in an interview with the Italian daily Corriere della Sera published on Sunday.
* VIVENDI – The Italian government on Saturday asked the administrative justice to postpone its decision on whether to cancel the freeze of two-thirds of Vivendi’s stake in the Italian broadcaster MEDIASET.

* BIONTECH – The British government announced on Sunday that it was preparing to become the first country to distribute the vaccine candidate developed by Pfizer and BioNTech by making it available to hospitals and then medical offices.

* BAYER announced Monday that it has signed an agreement with Atara Biotherapeutics to distribute the experimental cancer therapy developed by the American laboratory.
* EQT announced on Monday that it was selling industrial building logistics specialist Apleona, a former subsidiary of German BILFINGER, to private equity firm PAI Partners for around 1.6 billion euros. Bilfinger takes 5.1% on the pre-market, according to broker Lang & Schwarz.
* LUFTHANSA will have cut 29,000 jobs by the end of the year and plans to cut an additional 10,000 next year in Germany due to the impact of the health crisis on its activities, according to the German Sunday newspaper Bild am Sonntag.
* EDF – Greenpeace France said Monday to have had access, without having requested it, to “extremely detailed documents relating to all the protection systems of the Flamanville EPR”, in the Channel, and “considers that the security of the site is now completely questioned “.
* ARKEMA – Morgan Stanley downgrades its recommendation to “online weighting” against “overweighting” and lowers its price target to 96 euros against 100 euros.
