The Valencian Community adds 1,155 coronavirus infections and 65 deaths this Saturday | Radio Valencia

The Valencian Community has registered this Saturday 1,155 new cases of coronaviruses confirmed by PCR test or through antigen test since the last update, which put the total number of positives at 374,390 people. The figures confirm the downward trend of the third wave of the coronavirus, as they are 1,019 fewer cases of those detected last Saturday.

In addition, they have died 65 people with coronavirus since the last update (seven deaths less than the previous Saturday), which places the total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic is 6,402 people: 733 in the province of Castellón, 2,400 in Alicante and 3,269 in Valencia.

By provinces, the distribution of new positives is as follows: 143 in Castellón (38,306 in total), 441 in Alicante (140,743 in total) and 571 in the province of Valencia (195,339 in total). A case has been reassigned, so the number of unassigned cases is 2.

Situation in hospitals

Valencian hospitals currently have 1,563 people admitted (170 less than yesterday Friday and 799 less than a week ago), of which 388 are in the ICU (16 less than yesterday and 112 less than last Saturday). By provinces, there are 55 admitted to the province of Castellón, with 31 patients in the ICU; 668 in the province of Alicante, 151 of them in the ICU; and 740 in the province of Valencia, 206 of them in ICU.

Since the last update they have been registered 1,927 discharges to patients with coronavirus. In this way, there are already 361,966 people in the Valencian Community who have overcome the disease since the pandemic began. By province, registrations are distributed as follows: 37,053 in Castellón, 135,711 in Alicante and 189,146 in Valencia, in addition to 56 not assigned.
