The Royal Valencian Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation (RAVJL) has chosen two new full-time academics, the professor of Labor Law and Social Security at the University of Valencia Tomás Sala Franco and the lawyer and professor of Civil Law at the University of Valencia Rafael Verdera Server.
Both thus become part of the institution, after the last plenary session of the year in which the president of the institution, Auxiliadora Borja, and the secretary, Antonio Sotillo, have presented the annual report of the corporation.
The event took place in the assembly hall of the Valencia Bar Association (ICAV), where the headquarters of the Royal Academy are located.
Re-election of the Board and Medal of Honor
Among other issues, as reported by the College in a statement, it has been reported on the reelection of the Governing Board of the Academy, which has been renewed after submitting a single application to the process.
The new Board has been integrated by the president, Auxiliadora Borja; the first vice president, Luis Miguel Romero; the second vice president, Francisco Real; the Secretary, Antonio Sotillo; the librarian, Vicente Dominguez; and the treasurer, Jose Luis Martinez.
On the other hand, the Plenary voted in favor of the award of the Medal of Honor, recognition granted each year, to the dean of the College of Registrars of Spain, Maria Emilia Adam, after being the most voted among the proposed candidates.
