After the start of vaccination against Covid-19 in two nursing homes in Loiret this Tuesday, place at the regional hospital of Orléans on Wednesday. The CHRO announces that the vaccination begins for hospital staff over fifty who are volunteers (and those suffering from comorbidity) begins this Wednesday.
According to LREM MP Stéphanie Rist, herself a doctor at the Orléans hospital, 4,875 doses of vaccine are delivered to the CHRO by this Wednesday for this caregiver vaccination campaign, and for nursing home staff who depend on the hospital. These doses are kept in the super-freezer arrived at the end of December at the CHR of Orléans

For the hospital staff concerned, the vaccination will take place on the 3rd floor of Point Bleu, in the SSR premises, by appointment, via the following link, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays to enable night staff to be vaccinated.
For residents of CHRO nursing homes, consent must first be obtained
For residents of EHPADs who depend on CHRO (Le Bois Fleuri, Pierre Pagot and Les Ecureuils) or of the long-term care unit, vaccination will take place in each establishment, after obtaining the consent of the elderly or if they are not able to express their opinion, from their family or their legal guardian.
What about liberal health professionals?
For liberal professionals, the vaccination will take place at the Porte Madeleine dispensary, in Orléans, on Monday from 11 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and from Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., by appointment, via the following link. Liberal professionals in the sectors of Gien, Montargis, Pithiviers and Beaugency will be vaccinated “in the vaccination centers of their respective sectors”, indicates the CHRO press release.
For health professionals from other health establishments in Loiret, the CHRO indicates that “vaccination centers will be set up in the hospitals of Gien, Pithiviers, Montargis and Beaugency”, without further details at this stage.
For health professionals in private clinics de l’Archette in Olivet and Oréliance in Saran, “the vaccination will take place in their respective establishments”.
