What’s more, the most vulnerable people will receive an SMS reminding them to get vaccinated. And like every year, the order is from largest to smallest. First, nursing homes, the staff who care for them, those over 60 years of age, pregnant women and boys and girls between 5 and 59 months who are not in school, those in first and second year of kindergarten were already vaccinated before. For later, starting in November, there are the rest of the people who want to be vaccinated and who, as always, will be able to make an appointment through the GVA Salut application and at their health center. Garcés also emphasizes that those living with people at risk should also get vaccinated.

During last year’s campaign, more than 1,160,000 people were vaccinated against flu, and it was the highest number achieved in the Valencian Community. By province, around 430,000 people in the province of Alicante, 124,000 in Castelló and around 610,000 people in the province of València were vaccinated against flu.
