How Bloomberg Now reported, CD Projekt RED has also used this technology in the DLC of Cyberpunk 2077. The Polish voice actor for Ripperdoc Viktor Vector, Miłogost Reczek, died in 2021 after a long illness and was therefore no longer available to work on Phantom Liberty.
With the consent of the surviving relatives, the Polish development studio was also able to use its voice in the expansion. Another voice actor recorded his lines of text, which were then adapted to Reczek’s tone using the Respeech program.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has been available since the end of September for PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
