USA vetoed this Thursday in the Security Council the resolution that opened the door to the entry of Palestine as a full member of the United Nationsof which it is now only an observer state.
The resolution had been presented by Algeria in the name of Arab Group of United Nations, and garnered 12 favorable votes, compared to 2 abstentions and the vote against the United States, which underlined the isolation of the United States vis-à-vis the majority of the international community.
