In a statement to the Yonhap News Agency on 9th local time, the US State Department said, “We condemn the launch of a ballistic missile by North Korea, which violates a series of resolutions unanimously adopted by the Security Council of the United States. United Nations and threatens peace and stability in the region.
“We continue to seek serious and sustained dialogue with North Korea, but North Korea refuses to commit,” the State Department said.
Previously, North Korea launched an SRBM in the East Sea the day after the US midterm election day.
North Korea has conducted various missile provocations, including ballistic missiles and cruise missiles, 38 times this year.
