Peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan continue and we are happy to see that. SIA of the US State Department to the site informs with reference that these views were mentioned in the statement issued by press secretary Matthew Miller.
The document states that the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet with their European partners in Chisinau at the end of this week: “As US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said, peace can be achieved in the South Caucasus. The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan will meet with our European partners in Chisinau at the end of this week. We hope that these issues will not be resolved through violence, but through productive negotiations around the table.
Aggressive rhetoric can only perpetuate the violence of the past. Constructive dialogue can create peace, opportunity and hope. The United States stands ready to support the efforts of both sides to reach a durable and lasting peace agreement in the region.”
