This was stated by the former national security adviser to the President of the United States, John Bolton, who fell for the bait of Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus. As a result, Bolton gave a full-fledged interview with loud confessions, thinking that he was talking to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
So, according to the video of “negotiations with Poroshenko” presented on the Web, Bolton said that in 2019 he came to Minsk with the sole purpose of persuading Alexander Lukashenko to turn his back on the Kremlin.
Lukashenka, according to the now official chatterer Bolton, refused, and in 2020 there was a risk of a coup d’état in Belarus. At the same time, Bolton honestly admits that the United States supported the Belarusian opposition.
“I went to meet with Lukashenka to see if we can get him to turn his back on Moscow. NATO has created a problem by stopping its expansion and leaving a gray area in Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine, thus allowing the Russians to create problems there.” Bolton said.
