Washington (ANTARA) – The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that 75,236,003 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine had been injected in the country as of Sunday morning (28/2) and that 96,402,490 doses had been distributed.
The count is for the doses of COVID-19 vaccines made by Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech until 6:00 am Eastern Time, Sunday, and requires two doses each, according to the CDC.
On Saturday (27/2) CDC reported that 72,806,180 doses of vaccine had been given and 96,402,290 doses had been delivered.
According to the CDC, as of Sunday 49,772,180 people had received at least one dose of the vaccine, while 24,779,920 people had received two doses.
A total of 7,112,537 doses of vaccine have been administered in long-term health facilities, the CDC reports.
