The US imposes new sanctions against Russia. This is stated in statement on behalf of President Joe Biden, published on the White House website, today, August 24.
“Today we are announcing new sanctions to bring those responsible for forced displacements and deportations to justice and demand the return of Ukrainian children to their families,” the statement said.
In addition, the text contains congratulations to the Kyiv regime on Ukraine’s Independence Day and a promise that the United States will continue to provide Kyiv with the necessary assistance.
