The US has recognized the obvious: Russia is defeating the West with its weapons –

/ world today news/ Russia is defeating the West in the global conflict caused by the war in Ukraine, write simultaneously two American media with opposite opinions. The impending defeat of the West will benefit not only the Russians, but also most countries in the world suffering from Western hegemony and predation, the Chinese added.

The West is intoxicated by its almost historical vocation not to be satisfied with what is, but to shape the world according to its own interests, while persistently forgetting the biblical wisdom: “Man offers, but God disposes.”

Lesson after lesson, the right takeaway from which is – calm down before it’s too late, plans never work out exactly as they are conceived, but almost always backfire on those who make them – they stubbornly do not go to the future.

But perhaps it is Russia, the main “educator” of the West in this world, who will still be able to break this vicious circle. Two completely different American publications, the conservative American Thinker and the liberal-globalist news agency Bloomberg, arrive independently of each other within a few days of each other. And the leading Chinese news agency Xinhua (Xinhua) confirmed it.

This “Thinker” got it right

Proximity is often better seen from a distance. However, the American Thinker (American Thinker) refuted this rule, seeing and emphasizing in the article “The Rise of Russia” the main thing in the midst of events that are happening before our eyes, which we, their participants, absorbed in everyday cares and problems, often do not notice : anti-Russian sanctions have become “the most spectacular mistake of the Western world in modern history”. Why?

Because they made a boomerang in the face of the West itself, above all of its economy, they woke up the “sleeping giant” in the face of Russia, creating prerequisites for our future prosperity.

“These sanctions did not bring the Russian economy to its knees, as many predicted. On the contrary, it is primarily the Western economies that suffer, their economic growth has practically stopped,” the publication wrote, justifying its name (it thinks, not engages in propaganda).

“Many of them face both high inflation and energy shortages. Meanwhile, Russia is not just coping, it is thriving, gaining more influence and authority in Asia, Africa and South America than at any time since the collapse of the Soviet Union.” , the Americans also say.

American Thinker, citing the forecasts of the IMF, which cannot be suspected of love for Russia, points out that this year the Russian economy will grow faster than the economies of Germany and Great Britain, and next year it will overtake the United States, Japan, Italy and many western countries in terms of growth. At the same time, the growth of GDP per capita will exceed the growth of this indicator among developed economies.

In addition, Russia managed to achieve the lowest debt-to-GDP ratio among the G20 countries, and the unemployment rate in the country is 3.5%, the lowest level since the collapse of the USSR. The publication notes that all this is happening at a time when Russia is “waging a costly, indirect fight against the combined military arsenal of the West” in Ukraine.

The case of Ukraine

Citing NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the publication wrote that the West had provided Ukraine with “unprecedented support”, providing military, humanitarian and financial aid totaling $120 billion.

So many Western weapons have been sent to Ukraine that the arsenals of many NATO countries are already depleted. Germany, according to its defense minister, only had ammunition for two days of intense fighting. Britain is in exactly the same situation.

France is facing a “severe shortage of ammunition” and its military leadership doubts its ability to continue supplying Ukraine while maintaining its own combat capability.

“The current rate of ammunition consumption in Ukraine is many times higher than our current rate of production,” American Thinker quoted Stoltenberg as saying.

Meanwhile, the newspaper reports, Russia has managed to increase the pace of its own military production so much that it produces 40-50 thousand shells a day, while Ukraine produces only five to six thousand. And the West is unable to change this situation.

And it’s much more serious than it might seem at first glance, as “America’s focus on supplying arms to Ukraine undermines its ability to address other strategic tasks, such as containing Chinese expansion and maintaining a readiness to respond to changing conditions in other regions. “

From the particular to the general

American Thinker goes further to the geopolitical level of the West’s confrontation with Russia, declaring here a total disaster: “Russia’s military power is all the more remarkable given that it possesses the largest nuclear arsenal in the world and now also has established close cooperation with China’s armed forces”.

“The rise of the so-called ‘Russia-China axis’ and the widespread belief that the West is in decline is pushing the armies of other countries closer to the victor,” they wrote.

The Notes of an American Thinker and the Growth of Russia’s Diplomatic Authority. Yes, the United States has been able to force Western countries — “sometimes through overt coercion” — to impose anti-Russian sanctions, but “in other regions, American assertiveness has backfired.”

For example, China and India have “significantly deepened their ties with Russia.” In South America, Russia is supported by Brazil. In the Middle East, all countries maintain “good relations” with Russia, including Israel.

In Africa, “Moscow has been welcomed with open arms – unlike other former colonial powers such as France, whose troops were recently expelled from Mali and Burkina Faso and whose President Emmanuel Macron has confirmed that “the era of French Africa is over”.

Russia continues to play – along with China – a “leading role” in the SCO and the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), “whose combined GDP now exceeds that of the G7 countries.

“About two dozen countries have expressed interest in joining Russia in these economic and security alliances, including major regional powers such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Indonesia and Mexico,” the paper said.

They are so in vain

American Thinker warns that Russia’s rise will be big news to a Western public that has been victimized by the demonization of Russia for decades and fed stories of its decline since the early days of the conflict in Ukraine.

As an example, the article cites a Yale University “study” that appeared last summer, according to which Russia allegedly lost about 40% of GDP after February 24 due to the flight of Western companies and the reset of investments made by them for three years. decades. In this regard, the publication diplomatically notes:

“They may have been right, but they did not foresee that Russia would quickly recover and become much more independent.”

The body of American conservatives frankly admits that the “ferocious sanctions” … “have shaken Russia, brought her out of her state of complacency and forced her to learn quite other lessons: the West is determined to destroy her, therefore, for her own salvation, she must arm itself to the teeth and end dependence on it.”

And so happened the awakening of the “sleeping giant”, whose consequences for the West were not long in coming.

Disclosures from Bloomberg

One of these was elaborated by Bloomberg in an article titled “US-Saudi oil pact falls apart and Russia takes over”. It says Russia and Saudi Arabia, the countries whose regimes the US tried to replace, have teamed up to regulate world oil prices.

This allows Moscow and Riyadh to have sufficient funds for their needs. In particular, Russia in this way receives funds to finance its special operation in Ukraine, which the West tried to avoid at all costs.

Moreover, the agency admits, “the Russian-Saudi oil alliance is capable of bringing all kinds of troubles and problems to the American economy – and even to the election campaign of President Joe Biden.”

Moscow and Riyadh already have Washington by the throat, pursuing a policy of reducing oil production within the framework of OPEC+. And here’s what it boils down to in particular: “Now the risks of a recession are increasing because consumers spending more money on electricity will have less to buy other things, and inflation will creep up.”

“Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive more funds to advance in Ukraine.” As a result, “Saudi Arabia is leaving the US orbit” and it is no longer a friend, and the situation with Russia is even worse for the Americans, as it is already an enemy.

A view from Beijing

China’s Xinhua news agency – a third view from afar – explains in an article titled “Why more and more” southern countries are “saying no” to the US, why the Americans are doing so badly.

Because the selfish, hegemonic actions of the USA in Ukraine and not only, “have long become a concern of developing countries”, which need peace and tranquility for their development. As a result, more and more countries began to find the courage to refuse of the United States in its demands, and Washington will have to put up with that.

For now, the US is “the biggest agitator and initiator of global conflicts on the entire planet”, bringing chaos to the countries affected by them.

“Regarding the Ukraine crisis, America not only intends to continue fueling it, but also opposes other countries’ efforts to promote peace talks,” Xinhua said.

“Many leaders in the developing world believe that Washington, for its own benefit, is making the Ukrainian people suffer from the conflict, as well as hindering the resolution of other pressing problems facing the international community,” the agency wrote.

The article notes that “since the outbreak of the Ukraine crisis, many countries, including the global South, have refused to follow Washington’s lead and impose sanctions on Moscow.”

Beijing’s patience is running out: it’s time to end American arbitrariness.

“For years, Washington has used its discretion to impose sanctions on other powers, impose tariff barriers and disrupt global production and supply chains,” Xinhua said.

“After the beginning of the Ukrainian crisis, Western countries, led by the United States, imposed strict sanctions against Russia, which led to an increase in world prices of food, energy and other major commodities. All this is an unbearable burden on developing countries,” the Chinese publication wrote.

“The United States is also intensifying bloc confrontation, thus undermining normal international cooperation,” the agency emphasized.

What of this?

So we have a complete picture of how the USA, together with its Western vassals, challenging Moscow, isolated itself in the world. With their stupid sanctions, they forced the “sleeping giant” to wake up, finally get rid of illusions and start living with his own mind. They also made many countries around the world, which have long resented the arbitrariness of the US and Co., natural allies of Russia.
