“The State Department continues to advise US citizens to reconsider travel to Ukraine,” it says in the message of the American diplomatic mission.

The reason is called “increased threats from Russia.”

The embassy mentions Russian military activity near the borders of Ukraine.

Former press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov saidthat the Russian army will continue to conduct military exercises on its territory. He noted that there is no connection between the maneuvers of the troops and negotiations with the West.
