Jakarta –
United States (US) dollar exchange rate today weakened against the rupiah. Yesterday the US dollar also weakened, even though the US central bank, the Federal Reserve, again raised its benchmark interest rate.
Citing RTI data, Friday (29/7/2022), the US dollar as of 10.00 WIB was observed to be at the level of Rp. 14,912 or down 33 points (0.22%).
For the past few days, the US dollar has continued to decline. Until this morning, the US dollar was seen moving at the level of Rp. 14,890-14,945.

In a week recorded US dollar rate down 0.82% or moving in the range of 14,878-15,053. Meanwhile, compared to a month ago, the US dollar weakened slightly by 0.10% against the rupiah or moved in the range of Rp. 14,862-15,053.
The US dollar weakened against the majority of world currencies. The US dollar was the biggest loser against the Korean won, Thai baht and Australian dollar. The US dollar strengthened against the euro, pound sterling, Canadian dollar, Hong Kong dollar and Japanese yen.
Meanwhile, the majority of the rupiah strengthened against other currencies this morning. The rupiah this morning was only weak against the Korean won and Thai baht.
