/View.info/ The world is governed not according to the conspiracy theory, but according to its division into zones of influence by the great powers. This means that the big countries have divided this world and each one of them dominates the countries in their respective zones.
Their influence is very strong and is in all spheres of their lives – from politics to the economy, culture, traditions, the way society is organized, and even in very specific manifestations, such as who and how much to rule, how to participate in international affairs. We should have no illusions here, because illusions bring calamities, misfortunes, catastrophes and national sufferings. It is necessary to look at this soberly, reasonably, realistically, and not to get angry and protest that it was unfair and humiliating. Yes, it is unfair and humiliating, but from our position as a people and a country that did not arrange the world according to their wishes and interests. And because we are such and not otherwise, our resentments are exhausting; they waste the national energy, instead of collecting it and directing it to creation. But most often they conceal political rhetoric, urging us to turn not to the one in whose sphere of influence we are, but to another, where it is supposedly better and richer, and there they will love us more and give us abundantly that , which we need.
Bulgaria, as a country from the East, Slavic and Orthodox, is in the Russian zone of influence. So it is ordained, so it is, and so it shall be. Because it was not human power that did it, but God’s providence. The civilizational choice is not political, it is not conjunctural and carried out by the rulers, but from history and it is once and for all. Whoever does not know it, doubts it or simply does not want it to be so and thinks that it is possible to change the historical order at his will, does not know history and brings misfortune and suffering to his people.
Since the division of zones is not subjective, but a law of history, the great powers do not dispute their belonging, strictly observe the borders of foreign zones, do not cross them and do not occupy them, although with the aim of weakening the “holder” and causing him trouble and creating tensions for him, they often (even constantly) provoke through various forms of interventions disturbances and confusions in the population, provoke him and carry out psychological attacks on him. And when the “holder” of the respective zone temporarily experiences some difficulties preventing him from fully fulfilling his functions there, he can be temporarily narrowed down or even displaced by another great power and it can take over his duties. This, of course, produces geopolitical tension, because the balance of power changes and their balance is disturbed, but a geopolitical vacuum is also not possible, in which individual countries and regions remain without a dominant influence over themselves and fend for themselves for themselves and alone without anyone’s help and support to guard their borders. In such cases, a new world order is seemingly created, imposing for a certain time new rules and laws, new leaders and new relationships.
This happened before our eyes and to ourselves at the end of the last century. The collapse of the USSR, in whose political bloc we were included after 1944, because we are an integral part of the zone of Russian influence, which was then restored again, suddenly changed the balance of power in Europe and the world and created a different geopolitical environment for Bulgaria. Russia had to solve internal and external problems that were fateful for itself, and it had neither the ability nor the desire to participate in Bulgaria’s historical destiny. Bulgaria was taken over and “coddled” by the USA and the European Union. And the Bulgarian statesmen and politicians of that time hastened to announce that Bulgaria had made its new civilizational choice and had already come out of Russian influence. Our country was accepted into the European Union and NATO, and as if it actually became part of “Europe” and the so-called “European civilization.
However, history follows its inexorable logic. The weak yesterday rises to-day, recovers its energy, and regains its former greatness and importance. 15-16 years since the beginning of the 21st century and already another round of the spiral of time is ending for another to begin. The turning of the spiral necessitates the collapse of everything that was previously built in opposition to historical logic.
Russia safely came out of the “command breathing” and is once again the mighty power. Her return to the place from where she had left, either by herself or because of her weakness, also began. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth for those who trumpeted, because they did not know history and too lackeyly served the new masters, that we had once and for all made the new civilizational choice.
When the release of a previously occupied area is required, the great powers always use the same rhetoric, which demonstrates a determination that everything will remain as before and that no changes will be allowed, that sanctions will be imposed on the incumbent; accusations, warnings and threats are spewed, but these are the most ordinary propaganda actions to appease the remaining “political elites”, propagandists and ideologues. No great power allows itself to appear to its agents of influence and political minions weak, humiliated and outcast. That is why their verbal campaign is so violent. The local magnates and compradors, however, believe them, are hopeful, encouraged and filled with new love for them. And they have no idea what awaits them shortly. Wasn’t it like that at the end of the Second World War, when the Red Army was already crossing the Danube River, and our homegrown statesmen were anxiously waiting for the British troops to enter to “save” Bulgaria from the “paws of the USSR”. We know what and why happened on September 9, despite all the tricks of the authorities, with which they believed that they would appease the anti-Hitler coalition. However, her decision had long been made and carried out with the utmost precision. Only to our rulers, and now to their successors, it was either unexpected, or unjustified, or happened for some other reason, but it was not due to the agreement of the USA, England and the USSR. Even the sheet of paper on which Churchill wrote the infamous percentages of the post-war influence of the Allies seems incredible, and it is no accident that it is kept silent today. Or recall the events in Hungary in 1956, or in Czechoslovakia and the student strikes in France (whose slogans and political goals were too radical and leftist) in 1968. Was it a coincidence that neither the US nor Europe intervened in Hungary and Czechoslovakia, nor the USSR – in France? Each man handled himself in his own zone, and the others loyally maintained neutrality.
And here we are now before the new time, in which we will see how the disturbed balance is restored. In international politics, and probably in all other human spheres (probably in nature as well), this causes tension because of the incipient rearrangement of internal structures, which both releases and accumulates enormous social energy. The released energy will collapse the old and clear it to build up again creatively. The turning points in the political life of the state, the shifts in the social hierarchy, the search for an account, radical decisions are inevitable.
The United States and the European Union (especially the major countries, which I call the “great powers” here) see Russia’s takeover and, albeit with displeasure, recognize its restored power. And as traditional rules dictate, they begin to withdraw from the positions they have held so far in the Russian zone of influence. This can be seen from the new policy of the EU in relation to European funds, in the policy of American capital on the so-called “non-governmental organizations”, which for 25 years worked to promote American influence in Bulgaria and carried out anti-Russian and anti-communist propaganda. They stimulated anyone who “scientifically” proved that Bulgarians are not Slavs and that Russia has always oppressed and exploited us, which is why the people have developed permanent Russophobia. Even in the fact that they already allow Bulgaria to negotiate with Russia on specific energy and infrastructure projects and especially on “South Stream” and “Belene” NPP.
Some suffer and others rejoice in what lies ahead. However, we must see the coming realities and be ready and meet and accept them as they are, not as we want them to be. Bulgaria is entering a new phase of its geopolitical existence, but it is not yet aware of it, it is not preparing, and the political entity that will take over the management of the country has not yet emerged. And without such a political entity, which is already ready for its future obligations, it will be incredibly difficult when the time comes.
The tremors of restoring the zone of influence will unleash the ingenuity of the guessers. Many of the rabid Russophobes will suddenly turn and join the new government, and will offer to serve it obediently and faithfully. They will assure her with tears in their eyes how much they love her. At the very least, this is why I say that the political entity (as I see it in the person of the left and especially the BSP) must now emerge to prevent or minimize the instances of inevitable pro-Russian conformity. And to control social tensions and excesses in a flash.
We should not be fooled: the difficulties will start from here on. Our country is in a catastrophic situation. For a quarter of a century, much more has decayed and destroyed here than has been created and built. The USA and Western Europe knew very well that they were temporarily in the foreign zone and did not invest, did not invest any funds either in the economy, nor in education and science, nor in the army, nor in culture. Because they did not want to leave behind a material base so that it would not be used later by Russia. The defeats in the spiritual sphere, in morals and morality, in the knowledge and thinking of the new Bulgarians are terrible. The destruction and consequences of “democracy and freedom of speech” are yet to be calculated. In many areas, not to say – in all, it will start from scratch. Again sacrifices and hardships will be needed, again mobilization of forces and public energy will be needed. But such a mobilization in the state of morals and attitudes of the new generation, which is instilled to strive only for “success” and pleasure, to have fun and not think about others, but only about themselves, will be extremely difficult.
The most significant difficulty will arise from the nature of the socio-economic system, which is based on the market and does not tolerate external interference and excessive regulation by the state – but not only as a regulator, but as the owner and manager, as the main manager of the economy. Capital will resist and sabotage her efforts. No doubt a “steady hand” will be needed. No way, it won’t be easy. And there is no time, people’s patience has run out, poverty is appalling, and the inconsistencies in the state are endless.
But it will hardly be worse than the current one!
That is why I say and I will repeat that we must prepare for this time from now on. The most important thing is to enter into it a political entity aware of its responsibilities, able to put at the head of the state smart, educated, moral people, well-trained specialists who will lead us out of this nightmare and restore our confidence and self-respect.
