The US admits that Russia is difficult to attack from the air with any sophisticated aircraft

MOSCOW – Hypersonic Missiles Russian anti-cruising such as the S-300, S-400, and most recently the S-500 is the most feared weapon in western countries. This defense system cannot be imitated by the United States and its allies.

This is what the United States admits that Russia is difficult to attack from the air with fighter planes because it has an anti-ballistic missile system.

The missile is made by state-owned arms manufacturer Almaz-Antey, which is subject to European Union and US sanctions over Russia’s actions in Ukraine.

The S-400 was developed to destroy fighter jets, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and drones. Russian media claim that the S-400 is superior to its French or US-made rivals.

“Russia and its predecessor, the Soviet Union, have always been at the forefront of missile technology,” said British military expert Richard Connolly at the University of Birmingham.

Predecessor generations of the S-400, including the Soviet-built S-300, were designed as part of a comprehensive anti-aircraft system.

Not only that, Russia now has long-range air defense and the S-500 Prometey (Prometheus) anti-ballistic missile system developed by Russia in 2002.

The S-500 system was developed by the Almaz-Antey company known as Triumfator-M and will be first shown in 2021.

The first S-500 systems were deployed in the vicinity of Moskoc, to protect the Russian Capital and surrounding areas from ballistic missile attacks.
