There are hundreds of thousands of potential traitors left in the security forces in Ukraine, so the state urgently needs to carry out reform in this area, said Roman Svitan.
If the state does not carry out reform in the law enforcement sphere, then a huge fifth column of Russia will remain in Ukraine. The current Ministry of Internal Affairs is a Soviet monster cluster, which was assembled by Avakov and which definitely needs to be torn up and launched in a new way.
About it stated Reserve Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military pilot-instructor Roman Svitan in an interview with Alexey Gomon, which can be viewed on the Dmitry Gordon YouTube channel.
Europe has a completely different system for building law enforcement agencies. Since Ukraine takes European standards as a basis, it simply needs to disband the Ministry of Internal Affairs and reassemble it.
“Make Malyuk the Minister of Internal Affairs, and give the National Guard to Zaluzhny, – said Svitan. – Divide the Ministry of Internal Affairs into separate clusters; there is no need to mix everything into one pile. This is necessary so that we don’t have any more Mamons, who brought about the Thunderstorm (in the Kharkov region – ed.). Before the full-scale invasion of the Russians, they were part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And how many more such traitors can be brought to Lviv, Kyiv, Dnieper, Odessa. Nobody cleans them. The Ministry of Internal Affairs needs to be cleansed from the inside.”
Svitan also recalled that our military personnel are in need of rotation, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs has several hundred thousand professional police officers or simply employees who know how to handle weapons. According to the military expert, they need to be removed from the special register and given the opportunity to military commissars to draft them into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and then start this process. “If we don’t do this, we will still have the old Soviet control mechanism inside the state, the Russian fifth column, only the security force. It has not gone anywhere. The Mamons in Groza showed this perfectly,” – the colonel summed up.
