This opinion expressed Russian oppositionist, political scientist and publicist Andrei Piontkovsky in an interview with Vasily Golovanov, which can be viewed on the YouTube channel “News Factory”.
According to the expert, Iran is a very fragile state, therefore, after the West eliminates its nuclear potential and leadership, some chaos will arise around the government there. Then the united army of Turkey and Azerbaijan (Erdogan and Aliyev agreed on a united army) will simply fulfill its duty. She will deal with the security of the fraternal people.
“It is no secret that 30 million Iranians (approximately 40% of the population) are Azerbaijanis, who have long considered themselves disadvantaged in Iran, – noted Piontkovsky. – Some unrest occurs there regularly. And now Erdogan and Aliyev (unexpected situational allies) are realizing their historical dream. Erdogan’s formula “one people, two countries” will turn into “one people, three countries.” Iranian Azerbaijanis will greet the joint Turkish-Azerbaijani army with hugs.
