LOGROÑO, 24 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The University of La Rioja joins the II Contest ‘Your Doctoral Thesis in a Twitter Thread’ (#HiloTesis), aimed at PhD students and recent doctors who wish to disseminate their research through social networks until April 30.
This event is an initiative of the Joint Activities Working Group of the Scientific Culture and Dissemination Network (RedDivulga) of the Crue Spanish Universities R&D Sector Commission to promote the development of communication skills and scientific dissemination of future or recent doctors.
It is aimed at doctoral students from Spanish universities that are part of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE); as well as doctors who have defended their doctoral thesis within a maximum period of 6 months prior to the start date of the competition.
Participants must have a Twitter account and disclose their doctoral thesis in a thread of no more than 20 tweets, with the limitations and possibilities offered by this social network. The objective is that those researchers in training and/or doctoral students can tell society what they do, how they do it and why they do it.
The deadline to participate in #HiloTesis will be between April 19 and 30, both inclusive.
The contest has two categories, one general and the other for research related to inclusion and disability, endowed with a single prize. Those who choose to compete must have the approval of the person who directs the thesis and guarantee that the information provided is susceptible to public dissemination.
