Huawei is fiercely preparing the arrival of HarmonyOS on its devices. According to new screenshots from the HiSuite app, the Huawei P30 Pro would ultimately be in the list of priority devices that can benefit from the upgrade from EMUI 11 to HarmonyOS.
Week after week, Huawei’s strategy for HarmonyOS is taking shape. We learned that the manufacturer’s home OS would arrive in April 2021, and that the goal this year was to benefit more than 300 million devices. Compatible smartphones are also starting to become more and more detailed. This is how we have just learned that the Huawei P30 Pro would be one of the priority models that can access the operating system.
The Huawei P30s will quickly have access to HarmonyOS
On the Chinese social network Weibo, Changan Digital King has relayed several screenshots of the HiSuite application. Through this application, we find out in particular the version number of EMUI. In these pictures, we first discover the serial number VOG-AL00, that is to say that of the P30 Pro, with as operating system… HarmonyOS 2.0.0. Through this news, we learn that the P30 Pro (and probably the P30) would be one of the priority models that can access the operating system. Other images then show that the P40s will also benefit from the OS.
As a reminder, we know that EMUI 11 will be the gateway to transition from Android to HarmonyOS. According to Huawei’s plans, the supported smartphones may be quite old. Indeed, the manufacturer would aim to port the OS to devices with a Kirin 810 or 710 processor.
