The club’s love for FC Groningen appears to be unprecedented. A few hundred supporters walked through the center in corteo on Sunday prior to the match against Willem II.
The supporters in white, a big drum to indicate the beat, thick flags, green smoke and the banner in front. The parade was set up by the fans of the north stand. At twelve o’clock everyone had to report in white at the Grote Markt and then go to the Euroborg while singing and jumping.
Every now and then the procession stops for a while. “Groningen continues to jump. We will always keep jumping. Yes, Groningen continues to jump for his club!” shouts loudly.
