The University of Oviedo has carried out 667 telematic tests on 17,400 students | BE Gijón | Today for Today Gijón

The Oviedo University has celebrated between Wednesday and this Friday, 667 exams to those who were summoned 17,426 students, informs the academic institution, which considers that these online tests have been a success for registering very few incidents and, mostly, during the first day.

On average they have been examined 5,800 students a day during this week and incidents have only been registered in the virtual campus and in the platform enabled to do the non-face-to-face tests in less than one percent of the total of the exams carried out.

Incidents were concentrated during the first working day evaluation, in which they were registered 19 incidents related to 10 subjects that affected 80 students.

Between May 13 and June 2 the realization of 2,941 telematic exams. The institution has reinforced its virtual campus with more nodes and the acquisition of new hardware and it has deployed a new virtual campus in the cloud exclusively for exams.

In addition, the University of Oviedo has acquired 120 data cards and a hundred laptops for the students with access difficulties Internet or lack of means so that they can carry out their exams with security and guarantees.
