The official, who wished to remain anonymous, said that the next US military aid package would be delivered to Ukraine “as soon as possible”, in the same way as the previous ones.
Commenting on the current situation in Ukraine, a Pentagon official said Ukraine’s resistance was “greater than expected by the Russians” and the US was seeing signs that “the Russians are most disappointed that there has been no breakthrough in the attack in the last 24 hours”.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has announced a new defense aid package for Ukraine, which will include defense armaments to repel both tank and aviation threats. The US government has allocated $ 350 million (€ 312 million) for this purpose.

According to German government sources, Berlin has also allowed Estonia to supply Ukraine with Soviet-made howitzers deployed in what was then the Soviet bloc in East Germany, while the Netherlands was allowed to send 400 anti-tank missile systems to Ukraine.
