US diplomats will travel to Beijing to provide consular support to participants in the winter Olympics 2022.

“We intend to provide consular and diplomatic protection services to ensure the safety of our athletes, coaches and personnel, as well as ensure access to the services we provide to all US citizens abroad,” The South China Morning Post quoted the US Department of State as saying.
