The United States, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has established the Agriculture Sustainability Initiative (AGRI-Ukraine) in Ukraine with $100 million in funding. of dollars. The initiative aims, among other things, to alleviate the global food crisis, which has worsened due to Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine. USAID will work with other donors and the private sector to raise an additional $150 million for this program, with an overall goal of $250 million. Additionally, USAID will provide an additional $169 million in humanitarian assistance to Russian war victims in Ukraine. These funds will be used for food, housing, water, hygiene products, medical care, etc., USAID announced.
