Favorites, the Americans hold their rank for the moment. At the end of the first day of the Ryder Cup, the United States leads 6-2 against Europe. 8 doubles were played this Friday: the pairs Dustin Johnson / Collin Morikawa, Daniel Berger / Brooks Koepka and Patrick Cantlay / Xander Scheatele won their foursome at the start of the day. Europe saved the honor with the success of Spaniards Sergio Garcia and Jon Rahm. In the afternoon, Team USA did it again during the fourballs. Tony Finau and Harris English as well as Dustin Johnson and Xander Sc Chaudele won. In the other two games, the teams finished tied and are split one point.
