According to Queen, the US military is in Ukraine on a permanent basis, and their number may be increased.

“We are constantly assessing the situation in Ukraine. On an ongoing basis, we have the presence of 160 American servicemen. And if the needs change and need to be increased, we will consider this issue,” the diplomat said.

In turn, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal, who also took part in the briefing, said that Ukraine is interested in extending to other regions, outside the Yavoriv center, the training program for Ukrainian military by American professionals.

The prime minister noted that the expansion of military and military-technical cooperation, international training programs for the military are also a factor in deterring the aggressor.

“Therefore, the development of strategic partnership with the United States is one of the most important priorities of Ukraine’s foreign policy,” he stressed.

Shmyhal thanked the United States for the comprehensive support of Ukraine.
