The United States has announced a new package of sanctions against Russia against a key Russian commercial bank and a network of more than 40 individuals and legal entities led by sanctioned Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeev. This was announced by the US Treasury Department, quoted by “European Justice”.
The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control has identified individuals and entities involved in attempts to evade sanctions imposed by the United States and its international partners against Russia.
The sanctions will affect companies operating in the Russian virtual currency industry, which is reportedly the third largest in the world.
The US State Department also imposes visa restrictions on 635 Russian citizens.
