The US Embassy in Moscow has warned all US citizens in Russia to be prepared for potential terrorist attacks on shopping malls, stations and subway stations there.
In addition to Moscow, there is a danger of aaki along Russia’s border with Ukraine, Reuters reported.
“Review your personal security plans. Have evacuation plans that do not rely on US government assistance,” the statement said.
For her part, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova asked if the United States had provided (Russian authorities) with information about possible terrorist attacks in Russia.
“And if not, how do we understand all this?” Zakharova said.
