Former President Donald Trump says the US has a new nuclear weapon unknown to Russian and Chinese leaders. PHOTOS / REUTERS
Trump revealed this in a conversation with reporters Washington PostBob Woodward, when he was president of the United States.
“I built a weapon system that no one in this country had ever had before,” Trump told Woodward at the time.
“We have things you’ve never even seen or heard of. We have things Putin and Xi have never heard of before. “

The recording of the conversation has been transmitted CNN Tuesday, the day Woodward released “Trump’s tapes“, an audiobook of 20 interviews conducted while Woodward wrote three best-selling books on the Trump presidency:”Fear, angerAnd Danger“(the latter written together with Robert Costa).
Woodward said he saw Trump’s claim and a US official told him it was true.
“Xi [Jinping] And [Vladimir] Putin wouldn’t know about the weapon system, “Woodward said.” But why is Trump talking about it? “
Trump’s haughty stance on the nuclear issue has led him to “hot water” elsewhere.
Nuclear weapons policy documents were reportedly among the classified material the FBI seized in Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Florida home, in August.
