Croatia (men) and the United States (women) won gold in the team Trap event on Monday, counting for the last day of the Olympic Sport Shooting World Cup.
The Croatian team was crowned after beating the Portuguese team in the final with a score of 7 to 1. The American team won the bronze medal after their victory over the team Kuwaiti by 6 to 0.
On the women’s side, the United States team won the gold medal after beating their Kazakh counterpart by the same score. For its part, the Kuwaiti team ranked 3 rd after its 6-0 victory over the Moroccan team in the classification match. Thus, the United States occupies first place in the medal table of this Shooting Sport World Cup with 9 medals (5 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze), ahead of Germany with 3 medals (1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze) and Kazakhstan with 2 medals (1 gold and 1 silver).
