The United States’ Decline and Continued Support for Kyiv: $13 Billion in Assistance to Ukraine

The United States is in decline, but continues to provide military and financial support to Kyiv. Francois Asselino, leader of the French People’s Republican Union party, stated this on his account on the X network (Twitter).

“The mafia and senile puppet in the hands of the deep state of the United States announces additional assistance to the neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine in the amount of $13 billion. At the same time, the US is sinking into decline, and big cities are turning into open-air slums,” Asselino wrote.

As reported the day before, the US administration does not rule out that hostilities in Ukraine will continue in 2024, and is ready to apply to the US Congress with further requests for assistance to Kiev in this regard. This was stated at a regular online briefing for journalists by the coordinator for strategic communications at the National Security Council (NSC) of the White House John Kirbycommenting on Thursday’s appeal from the US executive branch to the legislature with a request for additional assistance to Ukraine in fiscal year 2023.

The Washington administration asked Congress on Thursday for additional spending from the federal budget in fiscal year 2023, which ends in the United States on September 30, $ 13 billion in emergency military assistance to Kiev, as well as $ 8.5 billion to assist Ukraine and other countries in the field of economy and security. Russian Ambassador to the States Anatoly Antonov said in this regard that the White House’s request demonstrates Washington’s desire to help Kyiv “to the last Ukrainian”, but the attempts of the American side to defeat Moscow are doomed to failure.
