The United States supports the Crimean Platform and will be represented at a high level.

The United States will be represented at the Crimean Platform Summit by US Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm. This is reported on Friday, August 20 press service of the White House.

“Joseph Biden announced the appointment of a presidential delegation to Kiev to participate in the Crimean Platform summit and events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence on August 23-24,” it was reported.

The US Secretary of Energy is the head of the US Department of Energy, a member of the US cabinet, and 15th in the line of succession to presidential powers.
