This Saturday, a Saint Petersburg police patrol passed near a pond. They saw an alligator “holding an object between its jaws,” said one of the police officers. Investigators opened fire on the animal, which immediately dropped what it was holding in its mouth. The patrol then realized that it was the body of little Taylen. According to one of the officers, the body of the child could be recovered “intact”, while the alligator was euthanized.
