Career as a Emirates flight attendant, makes Kartika Kasih have a unique experience. This Batak girl claims to have flown with an eagle in business class!
Kartika Kasih is one air hostess from Indonesia who has a career at Emirates airline. While working as a flight attendant, this girl from Batam had many unique and memorable experiences. One of them is ‘serving’ the Eagle who sits in Emirates Business class.
“The most memorable moment for me was when I was part of a flight where the Business Class cabin was full of eagles!,” Kartika said in a statement, Sunday (10/4/2022).
For residents of the Middle East, bringing their beloved eagle to fly on a business class plane, is not a strange thing, in fact it is commonplace.
Several airlines from the Middle East have special rules regarding eagles. Eagles are allowed to enter the aircraft cabin.

However, there are rules that must be obeyed. For example, the eagle’s head must be covered, the chain must be attached to the eagle’s leg, carry an eagle’s health certificate and so on.
For Middle Eastern people, the eagle has been the highest social status since ancient times. The eagle is considered a symbol of courage, determination and freedom.
In ancient times, the eagle was a ‘friend’ for hunting. But now, the eagle has become a luxurious and expensive pet which will also raise the social status of those who keep it.
Apart from serving Eagle passengers in business class, Kartika’s most memorable experience was when she was part of the Emirates Business Promotion team at the Dubai Airshow.
For Kartika, working as a Emirates flight attendant allows him to visit many places. He feels grateful to be able to learn about the many cultures in the world.
“The opportunity and freedom to travel is one of the most valuable parts of my job! During my layover, I have the opportunity to visit many places. None of this would have happened if it weren’t for my job,” says Kartika.
“I was able to meet colleagues from all over the world, learn about different cultures, and work with people from different backgrounds. It was a beautiful and memorable experience,” he concluded.
