This truce was short. Too short certainly for the Union players who were able to enjoy their side before resuming more vigorously. The people of Brussels resumed the path of collective training on Monday but had already been talking individually since December 28.
Other players were not put to rest. Nik Lorbek and Anas Hamzaoui have continued their rehabilitation and to train with the help of the club’s physiotherapists to return to the field in the coming weeks.
The Unionists will be entitled to a total of five training sessions this week. There will also be friendlies planned for the next few days but they have not yet been revealed.
As a reminder, the first official D1B match in 2021 will take place on January 23 in Deinze. In the first meeting of the season, the people of Brussels also went there with a 0-2 victory.
